その噂は、村の老人たちの間で密かに広まった―。

耕助は同級生の聡、瑠璃とロックバンドを組み、放課後、村で唯一の喫茶店「レイラ」のスタジオで練習するのを日課としていた。 お茶の収穫を控えたある日、黒髪の美少女・松下神菜が、病に侵された祖母のフミとともに上ノ集落に越してくる。
フミは耕助の祖母・ハルとは幼馴染で、60年ぶりの帰郷だという。
耕助は初対面の神菜に歌がヒドイと笑われるが、謎めいたその美貌に次第に惹かれてゆく。 しかし、神菜には他人には知られてはならない秘密があった―。
