ミナの森物語

この物話は、後世に民話として新たに伝えられるような心温まる日々の出来事を、『だら衆』を通して作っていきます。

ふるさと・・・心地よい響きの言葉ですね。
ふるさとと言えば、子どものころに遊んだ実家の周りの小川であったり、山、海、学校、神社の風景が思い出されるかと思います。これらは紛れもなく、各々が感じるふるさとではないでしょうか？
これらの実際の風景とは別に、ふるさとを語る中で「方言」という大切な言葉があります。方言は、風景よりも大きな影響をもっています。その土地の風土をも取り巻く方言は、その地方独特の現象を表し、そこに育った者でないと理解できない言葉でもあります。

『ミナの森物語』では、方言がモチーフとなっています。
この物語には、みなさんがご存知の昔話や伝聞に登場する妖精・山の神・妖怪などと呼ばれているような実在しない者たちが登場しますが、それらの呼び名を「方言」で表します。たとえば、眩しいことを遠州弁で「ひづるしい」と言います。常には木洩れ日の中にいて人とたわむれているけれども、時に人の目に光を投げて危険を知らせてくれる神様、それが「ひずるしさま」として登場するのです。このように、方言をモチーフにした神様がそこかしこにいて、日常的に人に関わっているんですよというお話です。

自然におこる現象について私たちは、そのときどきの気持ちや状況によって受け止め方が異なります。でも、大事であっても小事であっても、そのとき自分に起こった自然的現象はきっと何か意味のあることなのでしょうあ。方言のひとつひとつを探っていくと、それぞれの言葉に表向きの表現とは別の意味が隠されているように思います。それが、遠い昔から私たちへのメッセージのように感じてなりません。
『ミナの森物語』から方言を通して、人は自然に生かされているということをお伝えできればうれしく思います。

最後に、さまざまな自然的現象が方言の中には隠されているという意味合いから、ここ遠州地方に生まれた神様たちを『だら衆』と名付けました。今後進める中で他地域との連携が出来れば、各地の文末助詞を利用して『○○衆』のように名付けます。今日から、新しい日本の民話を作り出していきます。300年後に『○○衆』のお話が語り継がれていると楽しいですね。
